Directional Banners Installed at Pondok Ranggon for Channel Construction

Directional banners have been installed in Pondok Ranggon area, Cipayung, East Jakarta regarding the road closure plan for the construction of a water channel on Jalan Swadaya, Pondok Ranggon Urban Village.

East Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency's Development and Drainage Improvement Division Head, Tengku Saugi Zikri explained the banners were put up at the Junction of Cilangkap - Pondok Ranggon, Junction of Pondok Ranggon. Then Junction of SDN Lama leads to Pondok Ranggon Reservoir and Junction of Jati Ranggon - Jalan Harja Mukti.

"I hope it can help outreach to motorists. Thus, when Jalan Swadaya is closed, motorists and residents already know where to look for alternative roads," he explained, Thursday (7/20).

Pondok Ranggon Urban Village Head, Jaenuri expressed that regarding the road closure, his party was looking for a solution for parking residents' vehicles whose access was disrupted by the channel construction project on Jalan Swadaya.

"We have prepared a parking area at the urban village head's official residence. We're also coordinating with Jakarta Parks Agency for the use of temporary parking lots in Taman Ranggon Wijaya Kusuma area," he concluded.
